Stepan Wanin (* 30. December 1890 in Kasimovsky District; † 10. February 1951) was a russian (Soviet) mycologist. He was 60 years old. He studied at Imperial Forestry Institute. He worked at Saint Petersburg State Forest Technical University. His awards include Stalin Prize, 3rd degree and Honoured Worker of Science and Technology of the RSFSR.
