Stephen Hillenburg (* August 21, 1961 in Fort Sill; † November 26, 2018 in San Marino) was an american marine science educator and artist. He was 57 years old. He was married to Karen Hillenburg. He had 1 child. His education included California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt, California Institute of the Arts and Savanna High School. His awards include British Academy Children's Awards, Winsor McCay Award and Daytime Emmy Award. His cause of death was amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. He was buried at Pacific Ocean.
