Biography of Stephen Leacock

Stephen Leacock (* 30. December 1869 in Hampshire; † 28. March 1944 in Toronto) was a kanadischer Politikwissenschaftler, Ökonom, Schriftsteller und Humorist. He was 74 years old. His education included University of Toronto, University of Chicago, Upper Canada College and Strathroy District Collegiate Institute. He worked at McGill University. He received 4 awards, including Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, Governor General's Award for English-language non-fiction. His cause of death was esophageal cancer.
