Biography of Stirling Colgate

Stirling Colgate (* 14. November 1925 in New York City; † 1. December 2013 in Los Alamos) was an uS-amerikanischer Physiker. He was 88 years old. His education included Cornell University, Cornell University College of Engineering and Los Alamos Ranch School. He worked at University of California, Berkeley and Santa Fe Institute. His awards include John Price Wetherill Medal, Bruno Rossi Prize and Fellow of the American Physical Society.
