Biography of Swetlana Alexejewna Karpinskaja

Swetlana Alexejewna Karpinskaja (* 16. September 1937 in Saint Petersburg; † 18. February 2017 in Saint Petersburg) was a russische Schauspielerin. She was 79 years old. Her education included Russian State Institute of Performing Arts and Saint Petersburg State University. She worked at Saint Petersburg Comedy Theatre. Her awards include People's Artist of the Russian Federation, Merited Artist of the RSFSR and Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 2nd class without swords. She was buried at Smolenskoye Orthodox Cemetery.
