Japanese poet
Shuntarō Tanikawa (* 15. December 1931 in Suginami; † 13. November 2024 in Tokyo) was a japanese poet. He was 92 years old. He was married to Yōko Sano and Eriko Kishida. He studied at Toyotama High School, Tokyo. He received 6 awards, including Hanatsubaki Award for Contemporary Poetry, Noma award for children's literature. His cause of death was senility.
