Biography of Thelma Estrin

Thelma Estrin (* 21. February 1924 in New York City; † 15. February 2014 in Santa Monica) was an uS-amerikanische Informatikerin. She was 89 years old. She was married to Gerald Estrin. Her education included University of Wisconsin–Madison, Abraham Lincoln High School, City College of New York and Stevens Institute of Technology. She worked at University of California, Los Angeles and National Science Foundation. She received 7 awards, including IEEE Haraden Pratt Award, Society of Women Engineers Achievement Award.
