Biography of Thomas Sturgis

Thomas Sturgis (* 6. April 1846 in Manhattan; † 25. February 1914 in Eastbourne) was a commissioner of the New York Fire Department. He was 67 years old. He was married to Helen Rutgers Weir. He had at least 1 child (1 son). He worked at Atlantic and Pacific Railroad and Cheyenne and Northern Railway. He was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery.
