Biography of Thomas Tyra

Thomas Tyra (* 17. April 1933 in Cicero; † 7. July 1995 in Atlanta) was a composer, Arranger, Bandmaster, Music Educator. He was 62 years old. His education included University of Michigan, Northwestern University and Bienen School of Music. He worked at Louisiana State University and State University of New York at Potsdam. He was buried at Forest Hill Cemetery.
