Biography of Tōgō Heihachirō

Tōgō Heihachirō (* 27. January 1848 in Kajiya-chō; † 30. May 1934 in Banchō) was a japanischer Admiral. He was 86 years old. He had at least 2 children (2 sons). His education included Burney's Academy, Thames Nautical Training College and Britannia Royal Naval College. He worked at Naval War College. He received 10 awards, including Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order, Grand Officer of the Legion of Honour. His cause of death was head and neck cancer. He was buried at Tama Cemetery.
