Biography of Tomasz Merta

Tomasz Merta (* 7. November 1965 in Legnica; † 10. April 2010 in Smolensk) was a polnischer Staatsbeamter, Historiker und Publizist. He was 44 years old. He studied at Faculty of Polish Studies at the University of Warsaw. He received 4 awards, including Medal of the National Education Commission, Golden Medal for Merit to Culture. His cause of death was Smolensk air disaster. He was buried at Grabów Cemetery in Warsaw.
