Biography of Tomohito von Mikasa

Prince Tomohito of Mikasa (* 5. January 1946 in Hayama; † 6. June 2012 in Chiyoda) was a japanese prince. He was 66 years old. He was married to Princess Nobuko, Princess Tomohito of Mikasa. His education included Magdalen College and Gakushuin University. His faith was Shinto. His awards include Grand Cordon of the Supreme Order of the Chrysanthemum and Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic. His cause of death was laryngeal cancer.
