Biography of Toshio Kitagawa

Toshio Kitagawa (* 3. October 1909 in Otaru; † 13. March 1993) was a japanese teacher and mathematician. He was 83 years old. His education included University of Tokyo and University of Osaka. He worked at University of Osaka, Kyushu University and Saitama University. He was awarded the Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics.
