

New Zealand health reformer (1858-1938)
Truby King (* 1. April 1858 in New Plymouth; † 10. February 1938 in Wellington) was a new Zealand health reformer. He was 79 years old. He studied at University of Edinburgh. He worked at Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, Seacliff Lunatic Asylum and University of Otago. His awards include Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George and Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire.
