Biography of Tullio De Mauro

Tullio De Mauro (* 31. March 1932 in Torre Annunziata; † 5. January 2017 in Rome) was an italienischer Linguist. He was 84 years old. He studied at Sapienza University of Rome. He worked at Sapienza University of Rome, University of Palermo and D'Annunzio University of Chieti–Pescara. He received 6 awards, including Honorary doctor of the Catholic University of Louvain, Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic. He was buried at Campo Verano.
