Biography of Txillardegi

Txillardegi (* 27. September 1929 in San Sebastián; † 14. January 2012) was a baskischer Linguist, Politiker und Schriftsteller. He was 82 years old. He was married to Jone Forcada. His education included University of the Basque Country and Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de Bilbao. He worked at University of the Basque Country, University of Deusto and Bordeaux Montaigne University. His awards include Light Award, Medal of Merit of the City of San Sebastián and Invited speaker at the beginning of the UEU academic year.
