Václav Vorlíček (* 3. June 1930 in Prague; † 5. February 2019 in Prague) was a czech director and scriptwriter. He was 88 years old. He studied at Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He received 4 awards, including Merited Artist of Czechoslovakia, Klement Gottwald State Prize. His cause of death was lung cancer. He was buried at Vyšehrad cemetery.
