Biography of Vadim Lyovshin

Vadim Lyovshin (* 16. January 1896 in Korcheva; † 12. December 1969 in Moscow) was a soviet physicist. He was 73 years old. He studied at Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Moscow Imperial University. He worked at Russian State Geological Prospecting University, Lebedev Physical Institute and MSU Faculty of Physics. He received 6 awards, including Stalin Prize, 2nd degree, Order of Lenin. He was buried at Donskoe cemetery.
