Vojtech Zamarovský (* 5. October 1919 in Zamarovce; † 26. July 2006 in Prague) was a slowakischer Historiker, Schriftsteller und Übersetzer. He was 86 years old. His education included Gymnázium Ľudovíta Štúra v Trenčíne and Faculty of Law at Comenius University in Bratislava. He received 4 awards, including Egon Erwin Kisch Award, Ľudovít Štúr Order 2nd class. His cause of death was Parkinson's disease.
