Vyacheslav Shestakov (* 20. October 1935 in Haisyn; † 20. April 2023) was a russian philosopher. He was 87 years old. He studied at Moscow University's Department of Philosophy. He worked at The Great Russian Encyclopedia, Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the USSR, State Institute for Art Studies, Institute for US and Canadian Studies, Institute of Theory and History of Fine Arts, MSU Faculty of History, Surikov State Academic Institute of Fine Arts, Russian Institute for Cultural Research and Russian State University for the Humanities. He was awarded the Merited worker of culture of the Russian Federation.
