Biography of Walter Bauer

Walter Bauer (* 8. August 1877 in Königsberg; † 17. November 1960 in Göttingen) was a deutscher Theologe. He was 83 years old. His education included University of Marburg, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and University of Strasbourg. He worked at University of Wrocław and University of Göttingen. His faith was Lutheranism. His awards include Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and Burkitt Medal.
