Biography of Walter Kubiena

Walter Kubiena (* 30. June 1897 in Nový Jičín; † 28. December 1970) was a österreichischer Bodenkundler, Begründer der mikromorphologischen Bodenforschung. He was 73 years old. His education included University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna and University of Vienna. He worked at University of Hamburg. He was awarded the honorary doctor of the University of Madrid Complutense.
