Biography of Walter Oliver

Walter Oliver (* 7. September 1883 in Launceston; † 16. May 1957 in Wellington) was a neuseeländischer Botaniker und Ornithologe. He was 73 years old. He was married to Isabella Anne Oliver. He had at least 1 child (1 son). He studied at Victoria University of Wellington. He worked at Dominion Museum. His awards include Hector Medal, Fellow of the Royal Society Te Apārangi and Fellow of the Zoological Society of London. He was buried at Karori Cemetery.
