Biography of Walter Schottky

Walter Schottky (* 23. July 1886 in Zurich; † 4. March 1976 in Forchheim) was a deutscher Physiker (1886 - 1976). He was 89 years old. His education included Frederick William University Berlin and University of Würzburg. He worked at University of Rostock, University of Würzburg, Friedrich Schiller University Jena and Siemens. He received 5 awards, including Werner von Siemens Ring, Hughes Medal. He was buried at Pretzfeld.
