Biography of Walter Wessel

Walter Wessel (* 21. April 1892 in Lautenthal; † 20. July 1944 in Morano Calabro) was a deutscher Offizier, zuletzt Generalleutnant im Zweiten Weltkrieg. He was 52 years old. His awards include Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 and Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves. His cause of death was traffic collision.
