Biography of Wanda Wiłkomirska

Wanda Wiłkomirska (* 11. January 1929 in Warsaw; † 1. May 2018 in Warsaw) was a polnische Violinistin. She was 89 years old. She was married to Mieczysław Rakowski. Her education included Sydney Conservatorium of Music and Franz Liszt Academy of Music. She worked at Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She received 6 awards, including Commander with Star of the Order of Polonia Restituta, Commander of the Order of Polonia Restituta. She was buried at Powązki Cemetery.
