Biography
Vasily Petrov (* January 2, 1917 in Chernolesskoye; † February 1, 2014 in Moscow) was a marshal of the Soviet Union. He was 97 years old. He studied at Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia. He received a total of 44 awards. He was buried at Federal Military Memorial Cemetery.
