Wassili Sergejewitsch Smirnow (* 12. August 1858 in Moscow; † 17. December 1890 in Golitsyno) was a russischer Maler (1858—1890). He was 32 years old. His education included Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture and Imperial Academy of Arts. He was awarded the Large gold medal of the Imperial Academy of Arts. His cause of death was tuberculosis.
