Viktor Gorbatko (* December 3, 1934 in Ventsy; † May 17, 2017 in Moscow) was a soviet cosmonaut. He was 82 years old. His education included Krasnodar Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots named after Hero of the Soviet Union A.K. Serov and Zhukovsky Air Force Engineering Academy. He received a total of 43 awards. His cause of death was stomach cancer. He was buried at Federal Military Memorial Cemetery.
