Biography of Wilhelm Heinrich Waagen

Wilhelm Heinrich Waagen (* 23. June 1841 in Munich; † 24. March 1900 in Vienna) was a deutscher Paläontologe und Geologe. He was 58 years old. He had at least 2 children (2 sons). His education included Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and University of Zurich. He worked at University of Vienna, German Technical University in Prague and Geological Survey of India. His faith was Catholic Church. His awards include Lyell Medal, Knight Fourth Class of the Order of St Michael of Merit and Goldene Zivil-Ehrenmedaille.
