Biography of William Grant Still

William Grant Still (* 11. May 1895 in Woodville; † 3. December 1978 in Los Angeles) was an uS-amerikanischer Komponist. He was 83 years old. He was married to Verna Arvey. His education included Oberlin College, Wilberforce University and M. W. Gibbs High School. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship and William E. Harmon Foundation award for distinguished achievement among Negroes. His cause of death was heart failure.
