William James Mayo (* 29. June 1861 in Le Sueur; † 28. July 1939 in Rochester) was an uS-amerikanischer Chirurg. He was 78 years old. His education included University of Michigan and University of Michigan Medical School. He was awarded the honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. His cause of death was stomach cancer. He was buried at Oakwood Cemetery.
