Biography of William John Murtagh

William John Murtagh (* 2. May 1923 in Philadelphia; † 28. October 2018 in Sarasota) was an american architectural historian and a leader in the field of historic preservation. He was 95 years old. He studied at University of Pennsylvania. He worked at National Trust for Historic Preservation, National Park Service, National Register of Historic Places, Columbia University, University of Florida, University of Maryland and University of Hawaiʻi System.
