Biography of William Matthews

William Matthews (* 16. December 1770 in Port Tobacco Village; † 30. April 1854 in Washington, D.C.) was a 19th-century American Catholic priest. He was 83 years old. His education included Georgetown University College of Arts & Sciences, St. Mary's Seminary and University, Colleges of St Omer, Bruges and Liège and Georgetown University. He worked at Georgetown University. His faith was Catholic Church. He was buried at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
