Biography of William Nolde

William Nolde (* 8. August 1929 in Menominee; † 27. January 1973 in An Lộc, Bình Long) was a colonel of the U.S. Army and last official American combat casualty of the Vietnam War. He was 43 years old. He received 5 awards, including Air Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
