Biography of William Petty

William Petty (* 26. May 1623 in Romsey; † 16. December 1687 in London) was a britischer Ökonom, Wissenschaftler Statistiker und Philosoph. He was 64 years old. He was married to Elizabeth Waller, Baroness Shelburne. He had at least 3 children (3 sons). His education included University of Oxford and University of Caen Normandy.
