Biography of William Stevens Lawton

William Stevens Lawton (* 16. May 1900 in Newport; † 26. February 1993 in Fort Belvoir) was an united States Army general. He was 92 years old. His education included United States Army Command and General Staff College, United States Military Academy, Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Rogers High School. His awards include Bronze Star Medal and Legionnaire of Legion of Merit.
