Biography of William Tennant Gairdner

William Tennant Gairdner (* 8. November 1824 in Edinburgh; † 28. June 1907) was a professor of Medicine at the University of Glasgow. He was 82 years old. His education included University of Edinburgh and Stewart's Melville College. He worked at University of Glasgow. His awards include Fellow of the Royal Society, Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.
