William Woolsey Johnson (* 23. June 1841 in Owego; † 14. May 1927 in Baltimore) was an american mathematician, who was one of the founders of the American Mathematical Society. He was 85 years old. He studied at Yale University. He worked at US Nautical Almanac Office, United States Naval Academy, Kenyon College and St. John's College, Annapolis. He was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum.
