Biography
Wojciech Jaruzelski (* July 6, 1923 in Kurów; † May 25, 2014 in Warsaw) was a polish military and political official, leader of the Polish People's Republic from 1981 to 1989. He was 90 years old. He was married to Barbara Jaruzelska. He studied at General Staff Academy. His awards include Knight of the Order of Polonia Restituta, Collar of the Order of Isabella the Catholic and Medal of the National Education Commission. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Powązki Military Cemetery.
