Biography
Wubbo Ockels (* March 28, 1946 in Almelo; †May 18, 2014 in Antoni van Leeuwenhoekziekenhuis) was a dutch physicist and astronaut. He was 68 years old. He studied at University of Groningen. He was awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany. His cause of death was renal cell carcinoma.
