Biography of Yaroslav Voshchak

Yaroslav Voshchak (* 19. February 1921 in Brody; † 2. March 1989 in Liasny) was a soviet Ukrainian conductor. He was 68 years old. He studied at Lviv Conservatory. He worked at Lviv Conservatory, Odesa Opera and Ballet Theater, Voronezh State Opera, Kazan Opera and Ballet Theatre, Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, Belarusian State Academy of Music, Bashkir Theater of Opera and Ballet and Lviv Theatre of Opera and Ballet. He received 4 awards, including People's Artist of the USSR, People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR. He was buried at Nothern cemetery.
