Yevgeny Kychanov (* 22. June 1932 in Sarapul; † 24. May 2013 in Saint Petersburg) was a russian historian. He was 80 years old. He studied at Faculty of Oriental Studies of the St. Petersburg University. He worked at Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences. His awards include Medal "In Commemoration of the 1000th Anniversary of Kazan" and S. F. Oldenburg Award.
