Yukio Katayama (* 12. October 1908 in Mie district; † 18. September 1988 in Kyoto University Hospital) was a japanese crafts historian. He was 79 years old. His education included Kyoto City University of Arts and Tokyo Academy of Fine Arts. He worked at Kyoto University of Education, Kyoto Saga Art College and Osaka University of Arts Junior College. His cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
