Biography of Yuri Liverovsky

Yuri Liverovsky (* 3. November 1898 in Saint Petersburg; † 25. March 1983 in Moscow) was a geographer. He was 84 years old. His education included Saint Petersburg State Agrarian University, Peter the Great Saint Petersburg State Polytechnical University and Dokuchaev Soil Science Institute. He worked at Lomonosov Moscow State University and Dokuchaev Soil Science Institute. His awards include Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Honored Scientist of the RSFSR and V. V. Dokuchaev Gold Medal.
