Yuriy Rakitin (* 5. April 1911 in Dukhovshchina; † 4. August 1979 in Moscow) was a plant physiologist. He was 68 years old. He studied at Nizhny Novgorod State Agricultural Academy. He worked at Timiryazev Institute of Plant Physiology. His awards include Order of the Badge of Honour and Order of the Red Banner of Labour.
