Biography of Yury Shmyglevsky

Yury Shmyglevsky (* 27. April 1926 in Moscow; † 27. September 2007 in Moscow) was a russian mathematician. He was 81 years old. He studied at Moscow Aviation Institute. He worked at Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute, Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics, Dorodnitsyn Computing Centre and Steklov Institute of Mathematics. He received 5 awards, including Stalin Prize, 2nd degree, USSR State Prize.
