Biography of Zygmunt Czerny

Zygmunt Czerny (* 24. July 1888 in Lviv; † 18. February 1975 in Kraków) was a polnischer Philologe, Romanist. He was 86 years old. He was married to Anna-Ludwika Czerny. He studied at Lviv University. He worked at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, University of Wrocław, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Jagiellonian University and Lviv University. He received 6 awards, including Commander of the Order of Polonia Restituta, Officer of the Legion of Honour. He was buried at Salwator Cemetery.
