Biography of Zygmunt Sierakowski

Zygmunt Sierakowski (* 19. May 1827 in Lisove; † 27. June 1863 in Vilnius) was a polnischer General, Unabhängigkeitsaktivist, Kommandant des Januaraufstandes. He was 36 years old. He was married to Apolonija Dalevskytė-Sierakauskienė. He studied at Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia. He was awarded the Cross of Independence with Swords. His cause of death was hanging to death. He was buried at Castle Hill.
