Al Rae (* 3. August 1923 in Eltham; † 16. Oktober 2009) war new Zealand animal geneticist. Er wurde 86 Jahre alt. Sein Ausbildung umfasste die Massey University, Iowa State University und die Palmerston North Boys' High School. Er erhielt 6 Auszeichnungen, darunter Fellow of the Royal Society Te Apārangi, Officer of the Order of the British Empire.
